Judging & Governance

A professionally governed awards programme recognising excellence across the talent mobility profession.

The Quest TEMi Awards are designed to recognise excellence, innovation and meaningful impact across the talent mobility profession.

To support the integrity and credibility of the Awards programme, all submissions are reviewed under the Quest TEMi Awards Judging Governance Framework — a structured approach designed to ensure fairness, consistency, independence and professional rigour throughout the judging process.

Independent and Experienced Judging Panel

The judging panel is curated by TEMi to reflect a broad cross-section of industry expertise and organisational perspectives across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Oceania region.

The panel is primarily comprised of senior in-house and corporate practitioners, supported where appropriate by carefully selected industry specialists whose expertise strengthens the judging process.

Judges are selected to provide diversity across:

  • Industry sectors.
  • Organisation types and sizes.
  • Functional expertise.
  • Strategic and operational leadership experience.
  • Workforce mobility, talent and employee experience disciplines.

Judges are selected based on their professional experience, industry expertise, leadership capability and ability to contribute independent and balanced assessment perspectives.

Integrity and Conflict Management

TEMi recognises the importance of maintaining an independent and impartial judging process within a highly connected professional industry.

All judges are required to disclose any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest prior to and throughout the judging process. Where a conflict exists, submissions are reallocated accordingly.

Judges do not review submissions where:

  • A commercial or procurement conflict exists.
  • They have a direct relationship with the applicant.
  • They are participating in related tender activity.
  • A competitive or personal conflict may reasonably be perceived.

Confidentiality

All submissions, supporting materials, scoring and judging commentary are treated as confidential.

Judges are required to maintain confidentiality and may only use information provided for the purposes of assessing award submissions.

Assessment Principles

Submissions are assessed against published category criteria using a structured scoring methodology.

Judges are encouraged to consider:

  • Strategic relevance and organisational impact.
  • Evidence-based outcomes and measurable results.
  • Innovation and practical application.
  • Collaboration, leadership and employee experience.
  • Alignment to the values and purpose of the award category.

TEMi may conduct moderation or calibration activities to support consistency, fairness and confidence across the judging process.

Commitment to Professional Standards

The Quest TEMi Awards programme is committed to maintaining a judging process that is transparent, respectful, inclusive and professionally governed.

Our goal is not only to celebrate outstanding work, but to strengthen confidence in the recognition process itself and elevate standards across the talent mobility profession.
