To maintain high standards and ensure the Quest TEMi Awards remain fair and transparent, we draw on a team of independent industry professionals to assess all Award submissions. Our panel of Judges is made up of well-respected industry experts from across the talent/career mobility, immigration, taxation, relocation, recruitment, travel management and advisory industry sectors. Our judges provide a level of prestige to our awards night as we celebrate all the hard work and dedication over the last year.

José Clossi is Global Mobility Advisor at Newmont, with 10+ years of experience in global mobility, tax, immigration, and compliance across Brazil, the Netherlands, and Australia. He champions employee experience, robust compliance, and diversity and inclusion in global mobility. A registered lawyer (Brazilian Bar Association), José contributes to corporate and industry D&I initiatives and is an active member of LGBTQI+, cultural and linguistic diversity groups. He is the 2024 winner of the TEMi Outstanding Achievement Award.

With a background in international recruitment, Geraldine brings over 15 years’ professional experience in supporting international talent strategies by drawing upon a deep understanding of immigration, talent acquisition, global relocation and immigration. Geraldine is known for delivering mobility solutions aligned to business strategies. Geraldine builds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the full mobility life cycle including the broader HR function, legal and tax compliance and external vendors to deliver a consistently high level of service to Fortescue’s international workforce. Geraldine brings a passion for learning about global workforce trends and understanding how to apply technology solutions to streamline mobility for our business.

Principal Executive Reward at BHP

Michelle has been in Global Mobility and Reward for nearly 20 years, initially starting her career in tax at EY, prior to making the move to in-house with Barclays Bank in London as part of their Global Mobility team. After nearly five years in London, Michelle returned to Melbourne and joined the BHP Global Mobility team, becoming the Manager Global Mobility in 2020 overseeing BHP’s global program and leading a team of over 30 GM and IA payroll professionals. Currently, Michelle is the Principal Executive Reward at BHP and continues to support with strategic GM initiatives in this role.

She specializes in expatriate management, tax and immigration compliance, and policy design for emerging and complex markets. Karen has been deeply involved in global policy integrations, contributed to virtual work programs, and supported ED&I initiatives, consistently aligning mobility strategies with evolving business needs. She is passionate about developing future-fit mobility solutions that not only drive organizational success but also promote a positive employee experience and mental wellbeing throughout the relocation journey.

Emma is a Global Mobility Specialist with experience providing mobility support across the Engineering, Critical Minerals and Oil and Gas industries. With first-hand experience of what it is like to undertake an International Assignment, and a particular interest in policy design, Emma is dedicated to improving the employee experience in line with company direction through strategic efficiency and care. Most recently Emma has led the transition of Iluka’s inbound mobility program, focusing on sustainability and ESG initiatives to deliver a considered approach to the attraction of overseas talent to Australia.

Global Mobility Manager | Treasury Wine Estates

Jodi is a driven Global Mobility Leader with over 20 years’ experience in Global Mobility, Remuneration and Benefits, and Employment taxes, covering both in-house and consultancy roles.

Jodi currently leads the Global Mobility function at Treasury Wine Estates, a leading wine company with over 12,000 hectares of vineyards and 3,400 employees worldwide.  In her current role, she provides strategic and operational support to Treasury Wine Estates and its international assignees across the globe with a vision to create a clear and simple approach to relocating employees where they are needed, thereby developing talent globally whilst also driving successful business outcomes.  Jodi draws on her extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients in Big 4 consulting firms to design, develop and implement international and domestic mobility solutions, spanning policy, process, operations and technology.  She has a unique understanding of the end-to-end mobility lifecycle.

Jodi has a strong background in international personal tax, global payroll and employment taxes, as well as remuneration and benefits. She has also acquired multiple skills in stakeholder engagement, project management and human resources.  Jodi is passionate about Inclusion and Diversity, and Health and Wellbeing, having spent time on the Institute of Chartered Accountant’s Diversity Advisory Panel and Treasury’s Health and Wellbeing committee.
