Its international footprint spans education, research and industry engagement, creating a need to support employee mobility and business travel across regions through secure, consistent and well-governed processes. 

Award submission
RMIT’s submission focused on transforming its mobility processes under the joint leadership of Leanne Mills, Global Mobility Manager Australia and Darren Grist, Mobility Manager Vietnam. The initiative replaced spreadsheets, email and disconnected documents with Workia, a centralised mobility platform, bringing assignment, visa and business travel information into a more structured environment and improving visibility across RMIT’s Australian and Vietnamese mobility teams.
