Microsoft and Sirva

Microsoft is a global technology company with a highly mobile workforce spanning engineering, research, sales and operations. Sirva provides relocation and moving services across more than 190 countries. Sirva has supported Microsoft’s global mobility programme for approximately two years, with the relationship evolving from service delivery into a co-designed model built around shared governance, accountability and employee experience. 

Award submission
The submission focused on redesigning Microsoft’s global relocation operating model through automation, integrated data and AI-enabled capability. Microsoft and Sirva replaced manual authorisation processes, introduced real-time programme visibility and implemented a unified service platform, enabling relocation support to begin within hours of offer acceptance while allowing mobility professionals to focus more closely on employee support.
