Caroline Kyrizakis is a finalist for the Domestic Trans-Tasman Mobility Excellence Award.

Focusing on safety and community engagement, she introduced mental well-being programs, regular EAP check-ins, and infrastructure upgrades, such as enhanced lighting for early shifts. Caroline also led efforts to foster deeper ties between the workforce and local communities by hosting events like community sausage sizzles.

These initiatives resulted in increased employee retention, with workers completing their assignments, while Coles’ investment in housing expanded their property portfolio, reducing reliance on temporary accommodation.
