Capgemini Australia
Capgemini’s AU/NZ Mobility team used the global roll-out of SuccessFactors as a catalyst to redesign how moves are initiated, tracked and supported. As one of the first countries live, the team co-authored process maps for long- and short-term assignments, permanent transfers and visa-supported hires, trained HR and TA on the new ways of working, and fed design changes back into the global program—becoming a blueprint for later waves. They also launched “WorkAbroad,” an assignment system that automates reminders, letters and extensions and syncs dates directly to SuccessFactors. Together with AskHR and a mobility knowledge base, this shifted Mobility from admin to strategic partnering, improved visa compliance through automated prompts, and gave leaders real-time visibility on assignment progress. Post-go-live “hypercare” and weekly cross-regional forums sustained adoption. Early outcomes include rapid ticket resolution (746 of 750 within 24–48 hours) and fewer manual errors—evidence of thoughtful execution, scaled collaboration and a people-centred technology uplift.
