Bridgestone Australia – Lube Mobile: Road to South Africa Program

Bridgestone Australia forms part of the global Bridgestone Corporation and employs more than 1,900 people across Australia and New Zealand. Its subsidiary Lube Mobile employs more than 250 people and provides mobile vehicle servicing and repairs across Australia through a national workforce of skilled automotive technicians. 

Award submission 
The submission focused on addressing a persistent shortage of skilled automotive technicians by establishing a targeted international workforce pipeline from South Africa. Bridgestone and Lube Mobile combined specialist recruitment, migration support, face-to-face assessment, family engagement and structured onboarding to create a repeatable pathway for attracting and integrating experienced technicians into Lube Mobile’s Australian workforce.
