BHP and Pivt

BHP is a global resources company with employees relocating across its international operations. Pivt is an AI-powered peer support and belonging platform that connects employees navigating major workforce transitions with people who have experienced similar moves. Their partnership combines BHP’s understanding of its mobile workforce with Pivt’s peer-support platform to complement the practical services provided during relocation. 

Award submission
The submission focused on the BHP Relocation Buddy Program, which matches relocating employees with volunteer colleagues who have navigated similar transitions. Piloted in Saskatoon before broader rollout, the programme provides local insight, practical guidance and human connection alongside traditional relocation support. Following employee feedback, BHP and Pivt paused, refined and relaunched the programme, strengthening participation and engagement.
