ANZ Bank and the ‘myTrips’ technology platform by Vialto Partners

ANZ Bank, in partnership with Vialto Partners, is a finalist for the Mobile Workforce Technology Excellence Award, recognising their innovative implementation of the myTrips business travel compliance solution.

Under the leadership of Dimi Tsagaris, Changing Locations Team Lead at ANZ, and Stacey Tsui, Partner (Immigration and Business Travel) at Vialto Partners, this initiative has transformed ANZ’s approach to managing its cross-border workforce by enhancing safety, managing immigration, tax, and compliance risks, and streamlining operations.

The integration of myTrips into ANZ’s existing systems has automated trip assessments and provided real-time immigration support, significantly improving the efficiency of business travel management. By automating the assessments of immigration, tax, and border requirements, myTrips has reduced risks associated with non-compliance, such as fines and travel bans. The 24-hour traveller hotline offers emergency assistance, ensuring that any disruptions are quickly mitigated, thus safeguarding the continuity of ANZ’s operations.

Additionally, myTrips has fostered a cultural shift within ANZ by increasing employee awareness of visa compliance and embedding compliance considerations into the corporate travel process. The solution has also enabled data-driven decision-making, allowing ANZ to track business travel patterns and carbon footprints, aligning with ANZ’s sustainability efforts.
