A2Milk

A2 Milk undertook a targeted supply-chain transformation with a clear talent mandate. With no global mobility policy at the outset, a cross-functional team (People & Culture/Performance & Reward, Tax and Talent Acquisition) partnered with a Big Four adviser to design a competitive mobility proposition to attract quality, regulatory and infant-formula product-development expertise into Auckland. Policies launched in November 2024, an external mobility partner was onboarded in December, and the first international hire arrived on 21 January 2025—part of a cohort recruited from Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and China. The initiative met its KPI to fill nine priority roles by Q3 FY25, reduced People & Culture admin by ~8 hours per week, and accelerated capability building with increased productivity and output. This submission stood out for the end-to-end execution and measurable business impact—policy built fast, hires delivered on time, and KPIs achieved.
