Recognising an emerging professional who is demonstrating strong potential and early impact in supporting the movement of talent and workforce outcomes.

The TEMi Rising Star Award celebrates early-career professionals who are making a positive contribution to the way organisations attract, move, and support talent.

This award recognises individuals who show initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to developing their expertise while contributing to meaningful work within their organisation or the broader workforce ecosystem.

Rising Stars may be working in areas such as talent mobility, HR, recruitment, immigration, relocation, advisory services, or other disciplines supporting workforce movement. Through their work, they demonstrate professionalism, fresh thinking, and a strong desire to grow and contribute to the future of the profession.

Early-career professionals are encouraged to nominate themselves or be nominated by a colleague, manager, or mentor.

Successful entries will demonstrate how the individual has shown initiative, contributed to projects or initiatives, and demonstrated the potential to become a future leader in the field.

Examples of contributions may include:

• Supporting mobility or workforce initiatives within their organisation.
• Contributing new ideas that improved processes or employee experience.
• Demonstrating initiative in solving problems or supporting colleagues.
• Contributing to projects that support talent attraction, deployment, or mobility.
• Actively developing their knowledge and professional capability.

What matters most is the individual’s initiative, potential, and contribution at this stage of their career.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Open to early-career professionals working in areas that support talent mobility or workforce movement.
• Applicants should typically have less than 5–7 years of experience in the workforce or within the talent mobility ecosystem.
• Individuals may nominate themselves for this award or be nominated by a supervisor.
• Self nominations are encouraged to include a short endorsement from a manager, mentor, or colleague who has observed their contribution and potential.

What Judges Are Looking For

Judges will be seeking entries that demonstrate:

• Initiative and enthusiasm for contributing to their organisation or profession.
• Evidence of early impact through projects, ideas, or contributions.
• Commitment to developing professional knowledge or expertise.
• Strong potential to become a future leader in the field.

Successful entries will highlight how the individual is already contributing while demonstrating clear potential for future leadership.
