Global Talent Impact Award

Recognising organisations that successfully attract, hire, relocate, or integrate international talent to strengthen workforce capability and create a positive employee experience.

This award focuses on organisations that attract, hire, relocate, or integrate international talent across borders, including international recruitment, cross-border hiring, and relocation. It recognises organisations that bring global talent into their workforce and support those individuals to succeed.

Across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Oceania region, organisations are increasingly looking beyond local talent pools to access global capability and bring new skills, perspectives, and experience into their teams. This may include organisations expanding internationally, establishing offshore operations, or building workforce capability across locations and borders. Successful entries will demonstrate a well-considered approach to attracting and integrating international talent, with a clear focus on employee experience, support, and long-term success.

This may include initiatives such as:

  • Recruiting internationally.
  • Supporting international expansion through global talent attraction or relocation.
  • Relocation and settlement support.
  • Onboarding and integration.
  • Supporting employees and their families.

Entries do not need to represent a large formal program. Organisations may submit a specific initiative, project, or practical approach that has helped attract, relocate, or support international talent.

Organisations of all sizes across corporate, government, not-for-profit, education, and healthcare sectors are encouraged to apply. What matters most is the positive impact created for the organisation and for the employees who have relocated to contribute their skills and experience.

This category focuses on attracting and integrating international talent. Initiatives primarily focused on deploying or moving existing workforce talent across projects, regions, or operations should be submitted to the Workforce Mobility in Action Award.
